Avon Advance Techniques Frizz Control Shampoo and Conditioner - Review

I ordered this through the Avon catalogue as my friend is an Avon representative. My hair is very dry, frizzy, naturally curly, long and coloured. I have been searching for the 'ultimate frizz control' products for many years now, but have yet to find a solution. The Avon Advance Techniques Frizz Control Shampoo and Conditioner are a cheap product that are worth giving a go, you never know!

It wasn't until I actually received the products that I realised they stated they were suitable for all hair types. Personally, I don't understand how a shampoo and conditioner can cater for all needs. When I'm buying shampoo and conditioner, I always buy the one that caters for dry/damaged hair as my hair needs all the help it can get!

I found the shampoo and conditioner to have a fairly pleasant smell, it wasn't offensive and it wasn't over powering. Usually, due to the condition of my hair, I need to use quite a lot of conditioner. However, I found this conditioner to be very heavy and I felt like my hair was greasy, even though it was freshly washed! Perhaps I need to learn how to use less! The packaging is very simple and very 'Avon-like'.

Currently, the Avon website has both these items on special offer. The shampoo is only £1.40 and the conditioner is £1.65. At just over £3, these are definitely worth a try if you have frizzy hair. Let me know what you think if you do try them.

What are you favourite hair products? Have you ever tried Avon shampoos or conditioners before?
