As I'm sure you're all aware, I'm getting married in less than 5 months! Eeek! That's scary but also exciting. We still have a few things that we need to sort out so luckily for me, I have been invited to attend The National Wedding Show. I love attending wedding fairs. They're so inspiring and a great way of finding companies that specialise in weddings. The wedding business is so big and sometimes it can be overwhelming. The National Wedding show is the UK's largest wedding event and will take place on 15th and 16th March at Manchester Central.
The event will give brides-to-be the opportunity to speak to some of the UK’s leading wedding experts; peruse thousands of boutique, designer and couture bridal dresses; get inspiration and ideas for an array of themes and budgets; and compare a vast range of wedding suppliers – from florists to caterers – conveniently, all in one place.
More than 150 local and national businesses – including Debenhams, bareMinerals and Virgin Holidays – will be on hand ready to help and advise on every element of the big day. There will be a Champagne Bar, Afternoon Tea Room and during the exhibition, guests will be able to view stunning dresses, accessories and flowers being showcased on the biggest wedding catwalk in the UK.
Located at the award-winning exhibition venue, Manchester Central, visitors are able to easily access the city centre location via public transport. The show’s organisers are also offering event-goers the luxury of free parking.
Emma Fouracre, marketing manager of The National Wedding Show, said: “We’re excited to welcome thousands of brides-to-be with their mums, sisters, friends and bridesmaids to explore everything The National Wedding Show has to offer.
“We’re confident that brides-to-be across the North West will make the most of the opportunity to have a fabulous day out while hunting for local suppliers, getting advice and inspiration from exhibitors, and discussing all things ‘weddings’ at the show!”
The National Wedding Show already has existing exhibitions in Birmingham and London, both of which take place twice a year. This March, organisers, Ocean Media, are expecting to attract more than 7,000 guests to the Manchester show over the duration of the weekend.
